Why I'm Running:
Cleveland and Ohio are full of promise, yet we have not reached the future we are capable of building together. Ohio is projected to lose over half a million people by 2050 due to a lack of real job opportunities, while billions in tax breaks continue to benefit the wealthy under the claim that they will create jobs.
Working in MidTown, food pantry lines have grown longer as our hardworking friends and neighbors pinch pennies just to survive. Meanwhile, our General Assembly and governor seem more focused on enriching wealthy donors and political friends than standing up for everyday people. We do not need career politicians or political family dynasties telling working families what they need to survive.
Ohio has so much potential, and we cannot afford to waste it. The time for progressive change is now and it starts right here in State Senate District 23.
